Coffin Club Hastings

When and Where?

Wednesday morning for six weeks 10.30am-1.30pm.

12th September to 17th October 2018

See Spray Gallery, 153-154 Queens Road, Hastings, TN34 1RN

If you can't make the September dates, Coffin Club will be running again in the spring from 27th February to 3rd April. Get in touch to book your place.

How much does it cost?

Coffin Club is FREE if you just want to come along to plan your funeral, listen to the talks and gather information to make your end of life celebration exactly what you want it to be.

If, however, you want to decorate your coffin, the cost is £220, this will get you a fabulous Dutch flat-packed coffin (suitable for burial or cremation). We'll show you how to make it - dead easy (excuse the pun) and lots of fun!

The coffins fit anyone up to 6’4″ and up to 18 stone in weight. They come flat-packed and flat-pack again, once decorated, for storage.

My experience with the Coffin Club has proven to be extremely valuable in terms of finding out more about planning my DIY funeral. It was also a lovely bonding experience with others in my community. The amount of love and support I continue to receive from the organisers and fellow members means so much to me during this difficult journey.

- Babs, Coffin Clubber

Kate and Kate have been so welcoming, good fun and informative. I have enjoyed coming to Coffin Club and it has eased my anxiety about planning and paying for my funeral. I would recommend CC and I might pop in in the future just for a cuppa and a chat!

I feel much more comfortable about talking about the end of my life with my friends and family and I'd encourage all of them to think about going to Coffin Club and all it can offer in helping them arrange a suitable funeral for themselves. Decorating my coffin was great fun and I shall continue to add to it as time goes by. Many thanks for a positive and fun six weeks.
